Walking Dogs for You respects the environment it operates it and in which we live. I understand my responsibilities and work to integrate them into all aspects of my operations. The following identifies proactive steps I take:
1. I carry towels with me. If a dog's feet or coat requires wiping at the conclusion of a service, this will be completed
2. I understand and fulfill the Councils requirements for dog handling
3. All dog waste deposited by dogs during a service is removed and disposed of appropriately
4. All printing cartridges are recycled through Officeworks recycling program - Cartridges 4 PlanetArk Program which guarantees zero waste to landfill
Weather Conditions
I will always consider the current weather conditions when carrying out a walking service. A booked service will not be completed in extreme heat, thunder and lighting and heavy rain for the safety of your dog and me. I may reschedule a service when the weather bureau’s UV Index is high or above. This reschedule will result in a 100% credit and where agreed with you, rescheduling of the booking as a priority. Note: An individual dog’s behaviour and reactions to weather conditions are discussed during your initial consultation.
