1. What does Walking Dogs for You, charge for? I charge you for walks. There are no charges for initial consultations, reviews of services, booking services, administration costs or rescheduling of services due to weather conditions or unforseen circumstances.
2. Do you walk dogs in packs or with other dogs? My services are personalised - tailored to meet the needs and circumstances of your dog(s). I may walk multiple dogs belonging to one owner, where it is appropriate to the needs of the owner and individual dogs.
3. Is Walking Dogs for You insured? Walking Dogs for You is fully insured. I am insured with MGA Insurance Brokers Pty Ltd.
4. What happens if there is an emergency or my pet(s) requires medical assistance? I carry your emergency contact details, direct contact details of your preferred veterinary surgery, animal first aid kit and mobile phone with me during a service. In an emergency, I will contact you immediately. If your pet(s)require medical assistance, I am trained in first aid and I will get your pet(s) to the veterinary surgery immediately.
5. Are you police checked? I have had a police check completed. This is current and can be viewed by you at as requested.
6. Will you walk an unregistered dog? I will not walk unregistered dogs. All dogs registered with Council must be microchipped before Council can accept the registration of the pet. This also applies to any dog who has moved into the municipality.
7. Will you walk dog/s that are not vaccinated or wormed? I will not walk dogs that are not vaccinated or wormed. These treatments help to ensure the best health of a dog and those animals and humans they come in contact with.
8. Are there discounts available? I do offer discounts for regular walks and more than one dog from the same owner. Pensioner discounts are also available. Specials may also be offered at different times of the year.
9. Are dogs allowed off the lead during a walk? No. Please also refer to Services - Casual or Regular Walks.
10. What happens if my dog produces waste on a walk? All waste your dog(s) waste is collected and disposed of appropriately.
